Characteristics
Performance reliable, economical, practical, widely applied to many fields, sensitive to touch, it can identify the inputting signal of any touching media, such as finger(with or without gloves), pen, credit card, etc. With lower resistance rate of FPC(Flexible Circuit Panel ) materials, its leading-out wire are very flexible. Besides, its insulation point is low and visual effect perfect. Till now our lowest insulation point has reached 0.035mm, much better than that of other manufacturers. There are a variety of materials and processes optional for the surface of the touch screen, such as polishing, matte, anti-dazzle, light extinction, anti-Newton ring, etc.
How it Works
4-wire resistive touch screen is the preferred solution for low cost applications. It consists of a conductive layer(ITO glass or ITO film) at the bottom and a conductive layer(ITO film) on the top. When there is no force placed onto the surface of the touch screen, the two layers are separated by many tiny insulation dots and the circuit is disconnected. When the touch screen is touched(force placed onto the touch screen), the top layer contacts the bottom layer, the circuit is connected. Meanwhile, a voltage charged by the controller is placed to the X-coordinate of the bottom layer. And by the voltage from X-coordinate detected by the probe of the top layer ITO film, the X-coordinate of the touch point is measured. In the same way, by changing the way of the voltage placed by the controller, the Y-coordinate of the touch point is clear. Finally, the exact position of the touch point is detected.
